 [WinXp] Remote Procedure Call

Sto installando sul portatile Xp con i relativi Service Pack dallo stesso CD utilizzato sul mio Pc fisso......ma non riesco a fare una cosa decente in quanto ogni tanto mi esce un errore sull'RPC che mi fa un bel count down partendo da un minuto...dopo il quale mi si spegne il pc senza poter fare niente.....ora...c'è un modo a voi conosciuto per eliminare sta cosa? Ieri sera mi si è impallato durante l'installazione del service pack 2....con conseguente blocco di XP e formattazione obbligatoria.....:(

Help!!!

adesso sono sul portatile, sto scaricano l'sp2 e per ora nessun errore...il fix mi ha cancellato un file e una chiave di registro, poi ho applicato la patch della microsoft, e ho riavviato...spero sia bastato....
