O se giochi online. E' vero che anche l'ADSL pinga poco, però in Italia:
- i server sono penosi
- c'è una quantità spropositata di cheater e lamer frustrati
quindi chi può si rifugia sui server stranieri, e a quel punto la differenza tra FW e la DSL si sente, credimi. :)

Scusate un attimo ma... cosa intendiamo per larga banda? L'adsl? Se sì a che velocità? Secondo me comunque la vera larga banda è una connessione che ti permette di vedere filmati in streaming qualità dvd senza problemi, quindi manco fastweb è larga banda vera (la qualità della sua televisione fa schifo)... quindi men che meno l'adsl.

Direi osceno, tuttavia è possibile fare siti belli anche rimanendo nell'ambito dell'usabilità... poi si può anche scendere a compromessi, imho molto dipende dal target al quale un sito si rivolge. I siti delle università e delle PA ad esempio dovrebbero essere usabili al 100%, ma se dovessi fare un sito per una casa di moda non credo proprio che gli presenterei una pagina come quella di useit.com.

Poi è sempre il solito discorso: il cliente caccia la grana quindi se vuole una pacchianata in flash ovviamente viene accontentato, l'idealismo è bello ma non paga né l'affitto né il cibo :|

Mi spiace, ma concordo con Korn su tutta la linea, anche dei post che sono stati scritti da lui dopo.

Vi ricordo che uno dei grandi provider italiani tempo fa pubblicizzava la propria ADSL in tv facendo dire all'attore "e posso scaricare musica in pochi secondi!" (o qualcosa di simile).

E anni prima un altro grosso provider spacciava la sua ADSL (che faceva più pena di un 14K NdR) facendo vedere che si potevano scaricare video e vedere filmati in stream come se si stessero guardando dei film su videocassetta (poco ingannevole come pubblicità...)
