Uso Open Office perche' non ho una workstation windows ne' a casa ne' al lavoro.
Office i server solo se devo aprire delle strane cose fatte in excel (tipo le tabelle pivot dei comerciali)

Solo Word di MS Office è un disastro trovare i parametri per impaginare una pagina, poi molte volte fa quello che pare a lui, tipo mettere la maiuscola alla prima parola di una riga :?

Ci si perde un sacco di tempo a trovare e sistemare i disguidi meglio OpenOffice o iWork per chi ha MacOS X

Non so se ci possa essere davvero qualcosa sotto, dopotutto MS non adotterà OpenDocument, ma proporrà il proprio standard. Sarà divertente vedere quale dei due la spunterà, alla fine :)

Così di getto, vedo una sola possibilità: OpenOffice & free friends adotteranno Office OpenXML, nel senso che gli dovranno dare pieno supporto.
A questo punto o mantengono contemporaneamente OpenDocument e OpenXML (doppio lavoro) oppure uno dei due fomati passerà in secondo piano.

Microsoft se l'è fatta addosso perché una delle motivazioni che alcune PA adducono per l'abbandono dei suoi prodotti è proprio la mancanza di formati standard e aperti.


Ma soprattutto, OpenOffice non mi crasha, quella sòla di MSOffice era un problema continuo, soprattutto Word.

Ho scritto la tesi in officemac, il file è di 18 mega circa, su word windows crasha di continuo!!! e non è un problema di compatibilità :evil::evil::evil:

mi pare giusto
in alternativa c'è l'ottimo InDesign di Adobe, molto meno "impalloso" di Office e più semplice da usare, specialmente per piazzare le immagini, una comodità che Office e OpenOffice non hanno
dopotutto il loro scopo principale non è l'impaginazione

lo so, io volevo usare iWork...

Ripeto la ho fatta in OfficeMac, funzionando perfettamete, su OfficeWin fa impazzire....

Mi serviva avere il .doc.... se mo avreo usato iWork :D
