Hai un paio di funzionalità in più, tipo il firewall configurabile, ma secondo me, se hai una connessione ADSL, ti conviene disabilitarlo ed usarne uno specifico, come Zone Alarm o McAfee...

Peril resto, ha di buono che installando quello, installi anche tutte le patch del S.O. che zio Bill ha emesso e che sono un miliardo e rotti...

Ergo, a mio parere, se usi XP ti conviene comunque installarlo...A me male non ha fatto...Per ora...

Nel poll manca la risposta: si, e sono soddisfatto. Mi ha velocizzato il pc (tranne all'avvio) e sopratutto ha reso moooolto più stabile la rete wireless che avevo creato in casa... quindi, :approved:

Io avevo installato solo la patch per SATA con controller VIA (che è inclusa anche nel SP2)... ma se dite che va così bene magari faccio la pazzia e rischio... :look:

sì, sono pienamente soddisfatto e finalmente nel menu "installa/rimuovi" del pannello di controllo non ho più 13 mila aggiornamenti separati con nomi come KB3472a o IESP23221...ecc...ecc...

Peccato che il mio ultimo bios update invece non sia andato così bene... :sbonk:

Io l'ho messo e non ho avuto grossi problemi, per ora.
L'unica cosa un po' problematica e' stata che ho dovuto re-installare tutti i codec perche' mi facevano crashare il media player. :D

beh...nonostante il service pack 2 sia una gran bella cosa... sconsiglio cmq il media player.
La cosa migliore sarebbe il K-Lite Codec Pack con il Media Player Classic (non quello microsoft) per i video...e ovviamente Winamp per l'audio.

Sì...devo dire che media player continua a farmi schifo...

uno che l'ha installato ha detto che quando cancelli dei caratteri è come se li tagliassi e poi con ctrl+ins o ctrl+v li reincolli....

unica pecca se prima tagli e poi cancelli altro...
