 [software] Editor di formule matematiche

Ciao, chiedo un consiglio.
In questi giorni devo inserire ed editare un numero spaventoso di formule matematiche (non proprio semplici dal punto di vista "editoriale") in alcuni documenti Word.

Ora, scartando in partenza il pietoso Equation Editor che andra' pur bene per una formuletta qua' e la' ma e' impensabile per un uso sistematico, e senza poter usare latex (sigh) perche' i documenti DEVONO esser in Word, mi consigliate un editor semplice ma potente per win o linux?

Se e' free meglio :)

OpenOffice ha un tool Math che ti permette di editare forumule matematiche. Non l'ho mai usato quindi non so dirti a che livello di complessità le tratti; è l'unica cosa che mi viene in mente che mantenga la compatibilità con word...

miktex (latex for windows asd)

MathTypeT (la versione più complicata e a pagamento di Equation Editor)

Dai un'occhiata a Scientific Word,
http://www.mackichan.com/products/sw.html
che scrive in latex ed esporta anche in rtf

MathML (però scrive in XHTML), di conseguenza
ti tocca farne una jpeg

SciWriter http://www.soft4science.com salva anche in formato immagine

Derive for windows esporta in rtf

potresti considerare l'utilizzo di qualche tool per l'editing di MathML, magari poi con fop o jade riesci a convertire il file xml in rtf e importarlo in Word...e' un po' laborioso ma e' una possibilita' .

Considera inoltre che Mozilla visualizza senza problemi MathML ed in giro ci sono tool per la conversione latex -> MathML. Una volta fatta la conversione vai di screenshot :D

Puoi sempre fare un documento in latex2€ comprensivo di tutte le formule che ti servono e poi vai di screenshot della singola formula ;)

Openoffice. Esporta in ole. :)
L'unica cosa che non sono riuscito a fare è la graffa grande.
Molto comodo appena impari il semplice linguaggino (che impari tipo alla ventesima equazione).
