Mmmmmmmmmm....Io non ho nessuna connessione a banda larga, solo le connessioni LAN e WiFi...Occhio che magari il firewall integrato in XP blocca tutto il traffico di rete impedendo la connessione al router...

Come si fa a metterla come predefinita? Non riesco a trovare nulla a riguardo...

Inoltre a quelle connessioni ho anche quella con cui mi connetto via modem che sarebbe la connessione remota Wip Tech.
Devo forse disinstallare il modem... :pensa:

Ragazzi la faccenda si fa pezzata...

Quando tento di connettermi mi da quell' errore che ti ho detto prima, il 678..
Però adesso il bastardello non mi accende più la spia del link se non quando lo resetto, ma quando imposto il todos la luce del link va via, forse devo smanettare un pò lì...

Ad ogni modo nn ho ancora capito se devo mettere PPPoE + NAT oppure PPPoA + NAT oppure DHCPc + NAT oppure Router oppure Bridge? (questi ultimi due non li ho provati...)

Ho provato con i primi 3 e il problema non si è risolto, ma quale dei 3 è giusto?

la scelta tra PPPoE o PPPoA dipende da cosa è impostato presso il provider
dovresti chiedere all'assistenza in quale delle due modalità ti trovi e agire di conseguenza

in teoria io con il modem USB vado con PPPoA....
Ma essendo un router la selezione su Router dici che non porterebbe a niente?

Il router però non è usb...

PPPoA è tipico degli USB ma non è detto che un router non lo supporti, anzi è spesso vero il contrario

sono gli USB che supportano solo il PPPoA
