In gentoo per esempio non esiste un installer, c'e' un cd bootabile e una bella paginata web di istruzioni passo passo...

Si infatti Gentoo mi tenta, vorrei metterla sul portatile ma temo ci impieghi un mese a compilare tutto: è un PIII-450 con 192Mb... Ritengo cmq Slack una distro di ottimo livello, IMHO non paragonabile a Mandrake, Fedora e compagnia briscola...
