 [linux]problema con mozilla

mi si verifica questo strano caso:
installando mozilla ,qualsiasi versione firefox compresa,sul mio sistema (gentoo linux)
noto questa strana cosa, al primo avvio funziona regolarmente.
Poi le successive volte impiega tantissimo tempo ad aprirsi e si blocca immancabilmente.

qualche idea a riguardo?
