 [Hw - Scheda video] Sostituire la scheda video integrata

Ecco, un altro problema...
Devo sostituire una scheda video integrata con una nuova ATI RADEON 9550 ma ho un problema... perchè quando la sfiga chiama io rispondo sempre....

Allora, se le monto (correttamente nel suo slot AGP) ed avvio il PC...bhe... questo non parte... o meglio parte la ventola del processore e nientaltro... sapete se devo prendere qualche accorgimento particolare? C'è qualche impostazione segreta nel BIOS? accendo un cero alla Madonna?

Hai cotrollato che nel BIOS ci sia come priorità di "accensione" la scheda video AGP? Poi magari potresti anche disabilitare la scheda video integrata, se ne hai la possibilità.Io controllerei anche che allo slot AGP sia correttamente assegnato un interrupt.

non riesco a capire come disabilitare la scheda video integrata, da bios, sotto integrated peripherals ci sono solo la scheda audio, modem e scheda di rete... cazzarola...

Ho controllato che la priorità di accensione sia "AGP" ma non so però come verificare che sia assegnato un interrupt allo slot AGP..

Non mi dice nulla....Di solito, nella scheda avanzate del BIOS, ti fa vedere gli interrupt assegnati alle varie porte...prova a vedere li.

Dovrebbe esserci un jumper sulla scheda madre per disabilitarla, controlla il manuale.

ho controllato il manuale ma la scheda ha solo due jumper, un per resettare il CMOS e uno per cambiare la frequenza da 100 a 133 MHz... non so piu dove pichhiare a capa...

Quasi quasi mi viene il dubbio che sia il connettore AGP ad essere guasto....

si, la scheda madre supporta AGP 4x, ma la scheda video, dalle specifiche sulla scatola supporta 2x 4x 8x
quindi non dovrebbero esserci problemi...
