Va bene voler fare tutto per bene a mano, ma Notepad è un complotto degli oculisti. Meglio qualcosa che abbia almeno la colorazione del codice


Riguardo a Fireworks, è stata la rovina del web. Tra il codice che genera il modo in cui usa le immagini c'è da mettersi le mani nel c*lo, veramente....

Per il codice consiglio di dare un'occhiata a Eclipse, un'IDE modulare davvero molto ben fatta, con il supporto per diversi linguaggi di scripting e tagged.
Consente di organizzarsi l'interfaccia grafica a piacere attraverso le "prospettive", supporta il code highlighting e ha un browser integrato.
Se vi scaricate Apache potete testare in locale anche siti in PHP, ad esempio.

In più è CPL (tipo GPL, ma non ho letto i dettagli; tra l'altro ora stanno passando all'EPL, "Eclipse Public License"... )
