[PROBLEMA] Video e Sottotitoli

ho un video in divx in lingua giapponese, un file contenente i sottotitoli in formato .sub e un altro file sempre di sottotitoli però in formato .srt
problema: come faccio ad aprire il video vedendone i sottotitoli?
io ho provato con vlc player, l'unico lettore che ho che quando devo aprire un file multimediale mi dà la possibilità di aprire anche un file per i sottotitoli... risultato: vedo solo il video..
al momento di selezionare il file dei sottotitoli è possibile indicarne il formato da un elenco lunghissimo, ma non so quale sia.. lascio default system.. ma come detto niente

qualcuno sa dirmi come devo fare o sa consigliarmi un altro lettore?

Dovresti riuscirci con vobsub, plugin per directshow che apre direttamente i sottotitoli http://www.divx-digest.com/software/vobsub.html

grazie a tutti per l'aiuto.
ho provato con vobsub ma ci ho capito poco. poi ho trovato un certo DivxSubtitleTool che non era il massimo. adesso con BSPlayer è tutto ok.
