Ciao, poi eventualmente chi di dovere mi sposterà nel luogo giusto.
Ho seguito le istruzioni sui lucidi di Laboratorio su come installare apache+php+mysql su windows (xp pro), l'unica cosa è che alla connessione mi segnala questo:

installa easyphp... ti configura tutto senza troppi problemi, apache+php+mysql+phpmyadmin...

Non cerca un server HTTP... cerca il server MySQL... sei sicuro di aver fatto partire il server, e di averlo messo in ascolto sulla porta
