 [UMTS]Streaming video

Copio qui il messaggio che ho postato le forum di reti fisse e mobili, magari è più visibile. :)

Mi trovo nella posizione di dover progettare e realizzare (in C++) un'applicazione di streaming video su rete UMTS; visto che di telefonia et similia non ne so nulla, mi rivolgo a voi per avere qualche consiglio:

- Esiste qualche libreria che mette a disposizione un'interfaccia per fare ciò?
- Sapete che protocolli dovrei utilizzare?
- Avete link che potrebbero essermi utili?
- Sul cell cosa userei per ricevere e visualizzare lo stream?

lo stesso suggerimento che ti avrei dato io...
So che per gli smartphone sonyericsson sono disponibili delle API per "lavorare" con la foto/videocamera prodotte da terze parti, per il resto dovresti trovare un po' di roba interessante sui siti dei produttori

Scusate ma sono un pò confuso: io dovrei sviluppare un server che giri sotto linux, e che produca uno stream video verso i telefonini su rete UMTS: quindi non mi serve per ora sapere come programmare applicativi per il cell.
Se vado sui siti dei produttori di telefonini trovo invece tutte informazioni riguardo a SDK per i loro prodotti...

Mmm...più o meno!! Nel senso che la connessione tra server e terminale umts dovrebbe essere diretta (i.e. a commutazione di circuito, non di pacchetto), ma questo sembra un buon punto di partenza... almeno spero.
