[Lan aziendale] Problema di accesso alla rete aziendale
Ho un problema nell'accedere alla rete della azienda con il mio ibook
mi vede le varie cartelle su server, ma quando tento di collegarmi ci mette tantissimo e devo stoppare il tutto, in pratica non riesco ad accedere, cosa che con winzoz immessa la psw entro subito...
consigli?
(sul server c'è w2000 server)

ma anche io a casa non ho problemi solo che in ufficio quando accedo su network e mi compaiono le cartelle varie sul server aziendale, e faccio collega non va avanti , la rotella gira e rigira 
Invece su pc basta immettere la psw per accedere...
senbra quasi che non riesca ad autenticarsi

credo sia un problema con samba e win2000... dando una rapida occhiata in giro ho trovato gente che dice di aver risolto problemi simili al tuo utilizzando questo software:

ma non so di + in quanto non l'ho mai provato...
altrimenti potresti sempre mettre sù un server ftp sulla macchina winzoz...
EDIT: ah, no fermi tutti non è compatibile con panther... cmq credo che guardando un po' in rete troverai qualcosa a riguardo!

Non serve nessun driver!
Il metodo piu' semplice per connettersi ad una share e' il seguente:
- Vai sul Finder
- fai "MELA k" oppure dal menu Go -> Connect to Server
- scrivi "smb://nomeserver/nomeshare"
- premi invio e ti verranno chiesti user, password e dominio
Fatto! 
Ovviamente il nome sel server deve essere completo di dominio, oppure puoi usare l'ip.
Mac OS X usa samba per connettersi a risorse CIFS quindi non serve attivare nulla (Appletalk) o installare nulla...

Controlla che nelle tue impostazioni di samba, il WorkGroup (o il dominio) sia lo stesso impostato sul server Win

dal terminal fai "ping nomeserver" se riesci a pingarlo fai mela + k e scrivi smb://nomeserver/nomeshare
ti verranno chiesti, dominio (o workgroup), username e password.

va bene anche l'indirizzo IP del server, seguito da quello del nome della cartella condivisa (che puoi anche omettere, ti viene chiesto dopo)

anch'io cmq una volta ho sclerato un po' a collegare il mio ibook con un portatile di un mio amico con win2k, poi ci sono riuscito... ma non mi ricordo cosa feci in particolare!
