La GPL è applicabile a qualsiasi cosa? Ad esempio: musica, libri, film?

Ad esempio, conosco parecchia gente (musicisiti soprattutto) che - visto che con la SIAE più che guadagnarci, ci rimette parecchi soldi - potrebbe essere interessata a pubblicare i propri lavori in altri modi...

É possibile pubblicare un pezzo di musica sotto GPL? In che modo la SIAE può mettere i bastoni tra le ruote? Cosa succede se un idiota fa registrare a proprio nome presso la SIAE un pezzo precedentemente pubblicato sotto GPL?

Ho la sensazione che la legislazione italiana cerchi di favorire in ogni modo la SIAE...

Comunque in Italia non si può, perchè appena un'opera musicale viene concepita dev'essere registrata alla Siae per qualsiasi utilizzo professionale, spesso anche il solo invio a scopo promozionale a riviste/webzine.

Se non sbaglio dovrebbe essere possibile anche non registrare il proprio brano/demo alla siae e per proteggere le proprie produzioni da eventuali plagi si può inviare a sè stessi una busta sigillata contenente le proprie registrazioni... in caso di controversia/plagio fa fede la data sul pacco (che deve essere sigillato)!!!

alcuni miei amici che hanno inciso qualche demo hanno fatto così...
