[HELP] ftp e server

Ciao a tutti, ho un problema, mi hanno dato da amministrare un sito internet creato da altri.
Andando all'indirizzo:

http://localhost/login/ ricevo la pagina index.php

Se accedo via ftp, la cartella login non esiste e tantomeno il file index.php

Da dove posso partire per capirci qualcosa?
Ho accesso via shell linux.

Dovresti capire quale e' la Document_Root del server web.

Poi dentro dovresti trovare login.

Nel file di configurazione c'e' scritto quale e' la Document Root.
Guarda li dentro.

Anzi domanda che server web e' ?

Per esempio sotto apache:

in httpd.conf

Cmq cerca l'installazione del server web.

Se e' apache dovestri trovare una directory conf

Oppure cerca index.php (se sei sicuro del nome )
Pero' cosi' e' un po' "poco elegante" e forse lungo come procedimento ...

find / -name index.php

dovrebbe essere kerberos, il problema è che mi hanno dato delle informazioni che ho paura non siano veritiere.
Sul webserver ci hanno messo le mani in troppi ed ho paura che chi mi ha dato le informazioni non è aggiornato.
Quindi la cartella che mi hanno consigliato non contiene nulla, solo una pagina index.htm che rimanda ad una cartella che non è visibile via ftp

Mi spiace ma non l'ho mai usato.
Saprei darti solo consigli molto "intuitivi".
Apache lo conosco abbastanza ...
prova a fare come ti dicevo un find

Ehmm sai una cosa ...
Forse Kerberos e' cmq un Web Server Apache con dei moduli in piu'

Tra i processi guarda se per caso c'e' quello del server web con l'opzione in coda -D HTTP_ROOT="qualcosa"

Se gli utenti vengono trattati tutti come guest, è necessario controllare la riga guest-root.

Nulla hai modificato e ora si capisce ...

Allora quello della home dell'utente ftp e' semmai un altro "problema".
In realta' al massimo e' una scocciatura perche' (nel caso lo usi solo per aggiornare il sito) dovra' ogni volta fare un bel cd "percorso".
Il suo problema e', se non ho capito male, capire quale cavolo e' il percorso

Quindi capire quale e' la document root del server kerberos
