Su RH9 ho installato Mozilla FIrebird 0.8.
Ho creato quindi un collegamento nel desktop con queste proprietà:

Il problema è che se apro FireFox e poi cerco di aprirne un altro tramite il collegamento nel desktop, mi appare una finestra con scritto "Select User Profile" e non mi fa scegliere il profilo di default, in quanto già in uso.

Come posso ovviare al problema? :D

semplice, non cercare di aprire due volte firefox
il problema c'è pure con mozilla e credo anche con netscape
se vuoi una nuova finestra la apri all'interno del programma ma non lanciando l'eseguibile una seconda volta

Brutalmente cancellando il file di lock che si crea all'interno della directory di firefox (/home/pippo/.phoenix/ecc. ) nel momento in cui lo avvii, ne ignoro però i possibili effetti collaterali.
Di solito le versioni pacchettizzate non presentano questo tipo di "problema".
