caldamente consigliato a chi ama i gangster-movie (è molto stile quei bravi ragazzi, il padrino, the departed ecc ecc...)

Sara' perche' e' tratto da una storia vera ma in effetti non e' che brillasse per quanto riguarda la trama.
A tratti era decisamente lento e dopo circa 2 ore di "gangster film" (anche se per lo piu' legato allo spaccio di droga) tutto finisce troppo "velocemente"...

Non lo definisco brutto perche' l'interpretazione di Denzel Washington
mi e' piaciuta...

Pero' un po' noioso lo e' stato...

a me invece è piaciuto.

ovviamente non si può definire un "capolavoro" (su imbd è stato votato come il 161° film dei 250 "top movies"), ma certamente è un buon film.

mi è piaciuto molto Russel Crowe. Nel ruolo del rude poliziotto, è semplicemente perfetto. [altro film dove lo si può apprezzare è L.A. Confidentional].

Oltre alla lunghezza eccessiva, l'unica altra pecca è il finale.
Nel finale, mi pare che "il regista schiacci un po troppo sull'acceleratore". Toppe cose che succedono tutte insieme...
Altra cosa che non no è gradito più di tanto è il finale idilliaco.
[Il criminale ed il poliziotto che diventano "quasi" amici e ridono e scherzano insieme mentre smascherano i poliziotti corrotti... BAH... ]

Beh anche a me e' piaciuto ... il mio commento "un po' noioso" e' nel complesso, proprio perche' il finale e' troppo concentrato...
Non so quanto ci sia della storia reale, pero' magari dipende da questo... :D

però visto l'happy ending, con il "trionfo dei buoni", credo che si possa dire che è liberamente tratto da una storia reale... ;)
