Per quanto riguarda il resto e' vero che la apple si e' creata un brand e fa pagare salato alcuni suoi prodotti

Allora, la scelta di un portatile dipende da cosa vuoi fare. Se lo vuoi usare come rimpiazzo di un fisso, allora prendi un 17" panoramico.
Se invece te lo devi portare in giro, le dimensioni e il peso contano.

Non ci sono "ricette" che van bene per tutti.

Io ho scelto un notebook piccolino perche' lo trovo comodo per gli usi per cui mi serve un portatile. I film li guardo sul fisso che ha un monitor 19" e un bel paio di casse

io devo dire che sono soddisfattissimo del mio vecchio ibook, l'ho comprato usato ad un prezzo stracciato, ha un monitor 12'', come processore è un g3 500, quindi fatica un po' , ma quello che mi interessava era l'autonomia, soprattutto per portarmelo in giro.. e testato, si fa quattro ore con una batteria usata come fosse una passeggiata...

secondo me un portatile deve essere un portatile, e sfido chiunque a trovarmi un notebook che faccia 4 ore senza alimentazione fuori dal panorama mac ( a parte flybook )...

tutto questo per dire che sono soddisfattissimo del mio acquisto

Il mio HP NC8430, 15.4", Core 2 Duo, 2GB DDR2, X1600 fa quasi 4.30h con la batteria standard in dotazione... e ne ho presa anche una più piccolina che si aggancia sotto portando l'autonomia a quasi 9 ore!
