io il IV.3 l'ho risolto usando la legge debole dei grandi numeri...non so ancora come ho fatto ma ho tirato fuori una boiata del genere...
P(-0,05 < Wn - 0,5 < 0,05) >= 1 - c2

il V invece nn ho fatto in tempo a farlo...

qualcuno sa dire di preciso come si svolgevano questi due esercizi?

Dovevi approssimare il risultato con la distribuzione normale, praticamente facendo:
P(Wn-0.5<0.05) - P(Wn-0.5<-0.05) =
= Φ(0.05) - Φ(-0.05) =
= Φ(0.05) - [1 - Φ(0.05)] =
= 2Φ(0.05) - 1

per me era da fare in questo modo:

La media aritmetica delle ascisse differisca in valore assoluto da 0,5 metri per meno di 5 centimetri

p = P(|0,5 - W| < 0,05) = P(-0,05 < 0,5 - W < 0,05) =
= P(-0,05 - 0,5 < -W < 0,05 - 0,5) = P(-0,55 < -W < -0,45) =
= P(0,45 < W < 0,55)

Z = W* standardizzato:

p = P((0,45 - 0,5)/(1/sqrt(240)) < Z < (0,55 - 0,5)/(1/sqrt(240))) =
= (-0,7746 < Z < 0,7746) = Φ(0,7746) - Φ(-0,7746) =
= 2Φ(0,7746) - 1 = 0,5614

c2 = c1 (1 - p) / p = 1 * (1 - 0,5614) / 0,5614 = 0,782 €

Perchè standardizzi? Il mood (teorema 3.14 pag. 120) non dice che la variabile casuale in oggetto deve essere standardizzata...

EDIT: in ogni caso il risultato mi viene lo stesso, a meno di approssimazioni alla terza cifra decimale
