Io il libro di 4 anni fa e le pagine sono tutte sballate...
Ad ogni modo la mia domanda è se:

l' immagine è quelll' elemento di B (4) per il quale esiste un elemento di A (2) che viene portato in B dalla relazione oppure il contrario?


Cioè:
4 è immagine di 2

2 è controimmagine o preimmagine o antiimmagine (qualunque modo vogliamo chiamarla) di 4


o è il contrario?
Sennò spiegami cosa è un immagine e una preimmagine e famo prima! :D

Commutativa

se c'è elemento neutro (1g) vuol dire che preso un elemento qualsiasi a abbiamo:
( a )operazione (1g) = elemento a

Quindi in questo caso se nn sbaglio:

(a,b) * 1g = (a,b)
verifichiamo quindi che preso 1g = (x,1) ci da:
(a,b) * (x,1) = (a,1b) = (a,b)

quindi l'elemento neutro esiste e sarà di tipo (x,1) con x appartenente a R
