Anche io ho usato solo delle liste e un semplice array per il codice genetico.
Non mi è chiara una cosa di proteina, spero possiate aiutarmi... nell'esempio finale la proteina proposta vale 14. Perché?
Non dovrebbe valere 2+6+1+2=11?
Se prendo 2 come primo valore, quindi passo al 2 della seconda colonna senza costo di passaggio, poi passo all'1 della terza colonna con costo di passaggio 4 e passo al 2 della quarta colonna senza costo di passaggio il risultato è 11 e non 14!

Per l'esermpio finale:
i geni nel genoma non sono 4 ma 5.
A 1,1
AAAC 2,5
CG 8,9
GGTT 11,14
TAA 16,18

quindi con il comando p 3 4 f.txtavremo tre linee di 5 valori ciascuna.

i valori degli a sono
2 7 4 3 2
5 1 5 1 5
3 8 1 7 3

i valori dei p (sono 4 per ogni riga)
2 1 4 1
7 2 1 1
7 3 2 3

Ora non ricordo bene ma se fai tutte le combinazioni una che ha come valore 14 la trovi di sicuro ma non 11.

Non avevo considerato il secondo genoma, ma il primo, quello con 4 geni. Colpa del caldo... non quello che c'è fuori, ma quello della mia testa fusa dopo ore di programmazione!

Sulle specifiche il prof ha scritto di tener conto che i dati di input non abbiano errori, che siano sempre conformi alle specifiche, quindi non bisogna occuparsi di situazioni non previste... :)

Io volevo farvi un'altra domanda... Come fate a calcolare il tempo d'esecuzione delle funzioni?
Cioè, se ci sono funzioni già note (tipo quelle di string-matching) si possono trovare, ma su funzioni fatte da noi? Come si fa? :pensa:

per test io intendo file con centinaia o migliaia di valori (il prof usa test delgenere) per vedere se la complessità è davvero quella che calcoliamo.

cmq entro oggi si spedisce il codice ed entro domani consegnamo la relazione.
