Visto che si parlava di velocità e non di sicurezza...
Per le prestazioni un router non è più veloce di uno switch...
o meglio: per avere le stesse prestazioni spendi molto di più e a livello di sicurezza non guadagni molto rispetto ad uno switch moderno con VLAN (se proprio pensi che gli utenti si spiino a vicenda)

Mi si e' inchiodato il computer aprendo un'immagine da 700k con paint.... ha iniziato a scrivere su disco e non ha piu' smesso...

A voler essere precisi ancora più veloce sarebbe un hub ma all'aumentare dell numero di workstation e del traffico ciò non è più vero.. :D

Discorso diverso.. ma in SiLab viene fatta una qualche forma di traffic-shaping?

basta vedere la differenza tra il silab e il resto del dsi.

per carita', limitare l'uso di banda nei laboratori didattici e' comprensibile e tuttosommato giusto... ma non a questo livello :)
