Nel caso del link alla guida, devi andare nelle pagine speciali, poi in "System messages", troverai una voce "edithelppage" che puoi modificare a tuo piacere (nel caso del dsy ha valore "WikiDsy:Come_scrivere_un_articolo").
Tante altre personalizzazioni puoi farle nello stesso modo :)

o meglio cosi ho visto che possso cambiare il link ad un'altra pagina..ma io vorrei proprio farlo puntare a fuori dallla mia enciclopedia...in particolare ad un pagina di wikipedia

Forse puoi scrivere "Wikipedia:" seguito dal nome della pagina di Wikipedia che vorresti linkare :)

pensavo fosse dovuto al campo session.cookie_lifetime di php.ini il fatto che dopo un po che sono in wikipedia mi scollega...e devo rillogarmi...
invece ho visto che quello è settato a 0 , cioè sempre valido finchè l'utente non si ricollega...invece no...
tu sai quindi da che dipende?

In includes/DefaultSettings.php ho questa impostazione

code:
$wgCookieExpiration = 2592000;

Nel tuo caso controlla che $wgCookieExpiration non sia stata ridefinita in LocalSettings.php... altrimenti non saprei :)
