ho provato anche con ndiswrapper, in iwconfig la vedo correttamente ma quel problema rimane sempre.. net.agent...ecc..

ok...però dovresti sapere che modello è la scheda di rete. Ho guardato sul sito della toshiba, ma è un sito prettamente commerciale senza specifiche tecniche....

non è un problema di scheda a sto punto visto che lo fa con 3 schede diverse e l'errore è sempre lo stesso
cmq le schede del pc sono:
- ethernet realtek RTL 8139/8139C/8139C+
- wireless Intel PRO7Wireless 2200BG

Sì, ma se dai ifconfig ti vede solo la loopback...risolviamo una cosa alla volta :D

per la tua scheda, dovrebbe bastare un modprobe 8139too oppure modprobe rtl8139 o come diavolo si chiama il modulo sotto gentoo :D

Così però quando riavvi, devi ridare modprobe.
Hai diverse strade:
- insmod
- modprobe automatico all'avvio
- ti ricompili il kernel

Per farlo caricare automaticamente all'avvio dai modprobe nomedelmodulo, editi /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 ci aggiungi il nome del modulo e dai modules-update
