Ciao UZI vorrei dirti la mai su Band of Gypsys/Gypsies. Si tratta di un disco postumo (se non erro) e di un periodo non propriamente scintillante per Hendrix. Il sound di quel disco (distante anni luce da quello ottenuto con gli Experience) forse era anticipatore di quello che Hendrix sarebbe diventato se non fosse morto così prematuramente: un sessionman di lusso in qualche gruppo jazzy.
Senza nulla togliere alla statura di Hendrix, chitarrista ad oggi insuperato, ritengo (per questioni di gusti personali) che si debbano caldamente consigliare i tre album ufficiali a qualsiasi potenziale ascoltatore (includerei anche il doppio live at Woodstock)e lascierei Band of Gypsy ai completisti.

Bella la foto di BDP tratta da By All Means Necessary, un disco cardine dell'hip hop a mio modesto parere.
