A livello di hardware forse no... ma per quanto riguarda i giochi sicuramente ha lasciato più segno dell'Xbox (e alla fine è la qualità dei giochi che conta).

La memory card su cui si potevano scaricare sottogiochi e giocarci in giro come come fosse un mini-console-portatile era una trovata geniale!!! ;)

PS3 sembra la solita console poco sfruttabile per altre cose... la vera forza di Xbox era la possibilità di farci di tutto semplicemente dissaldando e ri saldando un paio di ponticelli e installando il nuovo software... per PS3 mi sa che non sarà così...

Comunque vorrei vedere i filmati dei giochi di PS3 e Xbox 360 prima di dare un parere... ma credo che un processore Cell 3.2 GHz non sia paragonabile a un triprocessore con 3 PowerPC da 3.2 GHz l'uno...

Si mormora che il chip Cell sia veramente difficile da domare in termini di ottimizzazione del codice... e che molte software house siano scontente della scelta... boh!

Cmq dubito che il nuovo Xbox360 riuscirà ad imporsi realmente. Non è riuscito l'Xbox a superare la PS2 nonostante fosse deciasmente più potente.... ora che la situazione si è rovesciata, la vedo dura per l'Xbox...

E ora provate a confrontare Dead or Alive 4 con Killzone2: il primo è bellissimo, certo, ma tutto sommato solo un gradino superiore a DoA3, mentre Killzone è qualcosa di spaventoso....

Per quanto mi riguarda poi il fatto che con la PS2 non si possa "paciugare" come con l'Xbox non mi interessa affatto, anzi forse la trovo una cosa addirittura positiva: per smanettare uso il Computer, mentre una console deve essere qualcosa di diverso... altrimenti la distinzione non ha più senso.

Per lo meno queste sono le mie idee. :)
