Sì, il capitolo 10 secondo me è da fare tutto. Ho dubbi sul capitolo 4 e 7. Invece,
per quanto riguarda gli ultimi argomenti del corso, dovrebbe essere così:

- progettazione fisica: solo quello che c'è scritto sulle dispense
- stesso discorso probabilmente per le transazioni
- della database security c'è da studiare solo la dispensa credo!

si uml non l'ha fatto e nemmeno il cap 11
anche a me il cap 10 sembra da fare tutto, cmq aspetto il programma dettagliato..... intanto sto iniziando con questa roba :)

Ieri ho parlato con un amico e abbiamo notato che ci sono solo 7-8 pagine da saltare, almeno così ci è sembrato. Poi è ovvio che ci possiamo sbagliare: d'altronde gli argomenti sono tutti molto collegati e può sembrare ciò che invece non lo è. L'unica che può rispondere con certezza è la professoressa, ma lo farà per fine settimana prossima a quanto sembra... quindi un'altra settimana di incertezza con "c'è da fare? non c'è da fare?"... boh e bah
Del capitolo 7 c'è da fare solo la parte dove parla dei diagrammi ER vero?

Per fare gli esercizi (->cioè i diagrammi ER) penso che sia utile qualche programma apposito. Ovviamente va bene anche per il progetto...
Ho cercato un po' in rete ed ho trovato questi due programmi:

a) un programmino in java per fare i diagrammi ER reperibile qua:
http://iniball.altervista.org/Software/ProgER/index.php
E' molto facile da usare, ha una guida breve ma chiara ed è in italiano.
L'unico problema è che non ha tutti i costrutti tipici dei diagrammi ER, come gli attributi composti...
b) un programma tradizionale e molto più completo, sebbene sia freeware per uso "educational". Lo trovate qui:

Ci sono presenti varie versioni, ovviamente dovete scaricare quella educational. Per farlo dovete registrarvi: non fornite email farlocche, perché lì vi viene inviato il codice seriale per attivare il programma.
Nella stessa pagina di download sono presenti molti tutorial e guide complete, quindi è sicuramente da provare se si vuole fare qualcosa di abbastanza complesso.

In effetti il prof. di esercitazione ha detto che nel compitino ci saranno anche domande riguardante ciò che è stato detto durante le ore di laboartorio, quindi presumo si riferisse a domande del tipo che dici tu.

Sì ma nel programma dettagliato del secondo compitino non c'è traccia degli argomenti di laboratorio! Allora questi argomenti ci sono o no da studiare?
