Intendevo dire che solitamente insieme al portatile danno un cd di recovery che con xp ha anche i driver adatti preinstallati. Mai fatte installazioni di questo tipo? Sono diverse da quelle di un normale cd di xp :)

Ma marca e modello del portatile qual'è? Magari un controllino in giro.....

E' un ECS ma non ho idea di che modello sia... dove lo trovo?
Ora pensavo di formattare... e rinstallare tutto da capo.
Il problema però penso che si riferisca allo screen che ho fatto all' inizio, ovvero un problema di velocità delle USB...
Esiste qualcosa per risolvere, mi dica, dottore! :asd:

La mia diagnosi l'ho fatta.
Ti dice che hai un prob alla velocita' delle usb perche' l'usb che hai su e' una usb1 molto piu' lenta di una usb2

Dai sù ora trova la soluzione.
Perchè il Sis7001 dovrebbe essere usb2!!!
Quindi pupino o trovi il modello esatto tra questi http://www.ecsusa.com/products/notebookSeries.html o.....t'arrangi :asd:

Trovato il chipset esatto (si sà mai che windows lo rileva come uno standard.....) si può provare ad installare i driver più aggiornati dal sito della sis/via.

Non ha driver, dovrebbe funzionare tipo una penna usb, che metti e va.
Credo che il problema sia che ho usb1 a sto punto....

Che scheda PMCIA (o come si scrive) mi consigliate?
