Dai, il pieno alla motina viene sui 18 € circa, te la cavi con poco...

Dunque, io ho Alice ADSL, IP statico, il DNS lo riconosce in automatico secondo il protocollo PPPOE (PPP Over Ethernet, ovvero la connessione Ethernet tra il modem e la rete-PC).

Per hostname non ho la minima idea di cosa sia...Eventualmente prova a chiamare l'assistenza tecnica...Non quelli del call center, loro non capiscono una mazza di roba tecnica come protocolli di rete ecc (neppure io, sia chiaro, ma almeno ho messo on-line il mio router wireless)

PPPOA è il supporto USB, ecco perché te l'ho chiesto...

Il pieno sono 18 litri e durano circa 300 Km, ad usarla sotto i 160

Nel senso devo inserire qualche impostazione di rete strana tra pc e router? Come?

Devi fare in modo che il pc abbia un indirizzo IP della stessa sotto-rete del router, magari mettendo gli indirizzi IP manualmente e come gateway e DNS l'indirizzo IP del router.

il tuo router fa da DHCP server?
se si non hai bisogno di altre impostazioni, se no devi mettere un IP della stessa sottorete del router al tuo PC e indicare l'IP del router nel campo gateway

In teoria ho letto DHCP server ma non ho idea di cosa sia....
Quindi ammettiamo che fa da DHCP server, dovrebbe essere connesso...? mi sembra strano..

Doppio clic sull'icona delle cossessioni di rete, proprietà o una roba del genere (forse impostazioni) ed accedi ai campi dell'indirizzo IP, del gateway e del DNS...Et voilà...

Il DHCP è il server che assegna in automatico gli indirizzi IP rendendoli univoci in un certo range di disponibilità sulla sotto-rete...In pratica devi spuntare il tag Obtain IP automatically...

Errore 678: il computer remoto non risponde...

Andiamo bene... :sad:

In teoria io ho DHCP server e non dovrei inserire niente.
Lasciando ottenere da solo IP e DNS non va, inserendoli io non va...

La faccenda si fa pezzata!

Edito, ora ho notato che la spia di LINK è spenta e che quindi non è connesso alla rete ADSL, il perchè non lo sò... ora smonto tutto...

allora ricapitolando.. attacchi il tuo pc al router..
metti alla tua lan un indirizzo ip che sia uno nella stessa rete del router,
acccedi tramite il browser al router,
metti le impostazioni adsl del tuo provider (di solito c'e' sempre un 8 e un 35 da mettere da qualche parte), metti il server dhcp attivo..
chiudi la connessione di rete, cambia le impostazioni della tua lan mettendo ottieni indirizzo ip da un server dhcp..
e tutto magicamente dovrebbe andare alla prox connessione..

o no?

Il link adsl ora è attivo e funziona il tutto.
Seguo il riassunto di Juventina...

ho messo impostazioni adsl del mio provider e ho inserito l' 8 e il 35 sotto VCMUX o cose del genere..

Mi fa strano questo.. "Chiudi le connessioni di rete"....

Ho cambiato le impostazioni alla lan, come hai detto...
