Se hai Linux puoi usare solo il MAN, mentre se hai windows e quindi Visual Studio puoi usare la sua documentazione (mi pare che si chiami MSDN) :)

Per il tempo mi pare che x Linux ti danno 2 ore e x Windows 2,5 ore! (tutto compreso dell'installazione del S.O.)

Io lo faccio a gennaio, ho già cominciato a fare gli esercizi in UNIX, quelli di windows inizierò a farli quando riuscirò a procurarmi Visual Studio.

scusa, se hai fatto l'esercizio 4 (io sto cercando di capirli...) di unix mi potresti spiegare il perchè di queste due istruzioni:
1 (c=stringa[j]-32);

2 stringa[0]=(char) cont;
??!

Se non sbaglio l'esercizio 4 e quello dei caratteri maiuscoli e minuscoli.

CONT probabilmente è una variabile INT e con "(char) cont" il valore di cont viene convertito in CHAR e quindi messo in una variabile di tipo CHAR come stringa. Questa operazoine è detta cast.

Comunque gli esercizi che hai scaricato non li ho fatti io.

Non credo, quando installi windows XP ti chiede su quale parzione vuoi installarlo e se non ce ne nessuna che ti va bene puoi modificare quelle esistenti.
Ma non hai mai installato win?

a dire la verità win 2000 no, gli altri (win98 o win me) sì

chiedevo questo perchè sono andato a rivedermi la prima (credo) lezione di lab (i pdf che ci sono sul sito della Pagani) e quando parla dell'installazione di win parla anche di fdisk

ESERCIZIO 1 di WIN:
-devono esserci tre programmi eseguibili corrispondenti ai tre processi, tutti mandati in esecuzione dal main()

qualcuno sa se questa frase significa 3 sorgenti, ognuno col suo main compilati in 3 eseguibili e stop; oppure significa un unico main() (messo dove fra l'altro?) che manda in esecuzione 3 sorgenti distinti ma senza main????

io ha fatto 4 progetti:
1 x il main che con createprocess manda in esecuzione gli altri eseguibili, che ovviamente hanno un loro main.
