Ho la seguente scheda di rete: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection

Ho configurato correttamente tutto quanto installando le patch elencate (compreso il securew2)..sono su Xp Home..

Il problema è che non posso scegliere il securew2 nel pannello di configurazione..c'è una cartella privilegiata dove installare il programmino secureW2_200 oppure c'è qualcos altro che mi sfugge?

il programmino di Intel ha un'icona della system tray, basta fare click col destro e c'è la voce per lasciare che sia windows ad occuparsi della connessione wi-fi
non ricordo la voce perché è da un po' che non vado in win

anche nelle proprietà della connessione di rete senza fili è possibile specificare se deve essere windows ad occuparsi della gestione della connessione

vai in sala macchine e li dicendo il tuo nome ti dice la pass che hai messo ai tempi.

la sala macchine:
quando entri nel dipartimento, dal passaggio a livello per intenderci, davanti a te hai una salitina e l'uscita dal SiLab in fondo alla salitina c'è una porta, proprio davanti a te.
entri e la prima porta a dex c'è il citofono con su SALA MACCHIEN, suona e digli che devi cambiare le pass.

tempo 2minuti e fanno ^^

No, non piu'.
Trovate una rete che si chiama "unimi.it" (tecnicamente questo è
il SSID). Collegatevi a questa rete (con windows fate doppio click,
con linux "iwconfig wlan0 essid unimi.it; dhclient wlan0").
Poi aprite un browser e provate a navigare, sarete rediretti
verso una pagina con le istruzioni.
In questa pagina c'e' scritto tutto dettagliatamente, corredata
di screenshots.

Mi piacerebbe evitare di avere la processione di studenti fuori
dal mio ufficio a cui devo spiegare che non bisogna usare
l'account del silab.
