 Question basi di dat help!!!

La proiezione di una relazione R su un insieme di attributi A={A1,…Am}, indicata con:

È una relazione di grado m le cui tuple hanno come attributi solo quelli specificati in A
Pertanto la proiezione genera un insieme T di m-tuple tali che se t=[A1:v1,…Am:vm] è in T allora esiste una tupla t’ in R tale che per ogni Ai in A, t[Ai]=t’[Ai]

qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi tale cosa cioè la relazione di proiezione

aspetta qualcun altro che te lo spiega.... io non ricordo l'esempio, ma sul libro o sui lucidi la cosa era chiara...e cmq a volte c'erano degli errori.... ocio!

In effetti, non c'è niente da capire: la proiezione e' un'operazione su relazioni in cui scegli arbitrariamente delle specificate colonne dalla tabella!

Esempio se hai le colonne a, b, c ed esegui una proiezione su a e b, otterrai solo le tuple di a e b.

Spero di aver risposto alla tua domanda!
