 [INFORMATICA] Monitor per la porta seriale

Qualcuno conosce un buon monitor per la porta seriale? Cioè, cerco una specie di "sniffer" ma per la porta seriale (nota anche come COM1 e che rispetti lo standard RS-232).

A proposito qualcuno sa darmi delle informazioni (magari in Italiano) sullo standard RS-232? quello che vorrei sapere è, senza entrare in dettaglio, a cosa servono i 9 pin della porta, cioè che tipo di informazione portano e a cosa serve tale informazione.

we ma mi credi proprio cosi lamer o nerd? scherzi a parte, grazie ma questi due siti, cosi come altri trovati da google li ho gia letti e guardati, solo cercavo qualcosa di un po piu chiaro e meno tecnico...

quello che volevo dire è: la codifica della rs232 è una delle cose forse più documentate al mondo :D
