 Problema partizione

Ciao! Sto imparando a usare minix e stavo tentando di fare la partizione. Ho già caricato il disco. Il problema è che quando digito il comando cat/dev/c0d1 mi dice:
No such file or directory.
Stessa cosa se faccio pert/dev/c0d1.

Ho iniziato oggi con Minix ed è da piu di un' ora che sono su questo problema ma non riesco a risolverlo :(

Spero che qualcuno riesca ad aiutarmi!!

I comandi sono corretti (ovviamente: "part" non "pert")
Devi però avviare Minix su QEMU dichiarando il secondo disco (quello che andrai a partizionare/formattare/montare)

nel file .bat di avvio di QEMU (se usi Win) devi aggiungere: -hdb nome_file.img

es. istruzione di avvio:

qemu.exe -L . -m 128 -hda minix.img -hdb disk1.img -soundhw all -localtime -M pc

Il file disk1.img lo devi preparare prima, da Windows o da Linux.
L'utility è: qemu-img create ...

Si scusa, volevo scrivere part. Cmq ho già fatto tutto. Ho creato il secondo disco dal prompt di win, ho aggiunto il disco nel file di qemu ma niente. Non ne vuole proprio sapere!

prova a vedere se efettivamente ti ha caricato il 2° disco.

fai ls /dev e vedi se c'è.

Scusate vi ho fatto perdere tempo...aveva ragione francesco...non mi sono proprio accorta di uno spazio.
Già che ci sono vorrei chiedere un' altra cosa...ho letto il posto sulla partizione e non mi è chiara una cosa. Ad un certo punto parlano dei cilindri allineati e vengono postati i valori che i cilindri devono assumere. Dice:

"per chi ne avesse bisogno i cilindri sono allineati quando per esempio i campi cyl sono
da 1 a 29 la prima partizione
da 30 a 55 la seconda
da 56 a 78 la terza e così via..."

Non riesco proprio a capire...perchè se vado a vedere le mie partizioni il campo cyl è completamente diverso...
