Ciao a tutti..
Ho esigenza di scrivere su un file .php che sta sul mio sito alcune cose quando voglio...
Il problema è che sul dominio che ho (aruba.it) i permessi dei file sono solo in lettura...
La cartella public, unica che dovrebbe a parere di qualcuno avere i permessi in scrittura, non li ha..
Avendo acquistato spazio windows e non linux e volendo evitare di fare il passaggio anche a quest'ultimo, non posso cambiare i permessi di file e cartelle direttamente su FTP, non ho ben capito se dipenda solo da aruba.it oppure è una cosa generale del server windows..
Penavo di riuscire a risolvere il problema con uno script asp che andasse a modificare i permessi sui file quando messo in esecuzione..
Ma mi da Permission denied..
Ma come cazzo cambio sti permessi dei file??

La cartella "public" ha i permessi anche in scrittura... se non dovesse essere così contatta l'assistenza e ripristineranno la cosa...

Per quanto riguarda l'FTP è una protezione generale di sicurezza del server Windows, non dipende da Aruba.

Ma spiegami una cosa...se io dovessi aver bisogno di fare delle modifiche su questo file.php e poi anche se magari temporanenamente
impostare con permessi di scrittura anche delle intere cartelle con sottocartelle...che faccio??
Metto tutto in public?
Ci saranno delle controindicazioni credo..no?
In generale conviene comprare l'hosting linux se si hanno queste necessita'?

In generale conviene comprare l'hosting linux se poi programmi in PHP!

allora sono riuscito...
Mettendo in public e poi facendo partire lo script che ho fatto le cartelle sono andate a permesso di scrittura..
Quello che mi chiedo è...
Perchè l'FTP nn si accorge delle variazioni edei permessi??
Ora il file è in scritura e infatti ci scrivo quando voglio..ma perchè se guardo le proprieta' nn risulta essere in scrittura...??
Vale per tutte le cartelle anche..sono settate correttamente a 777 in pratica, ma l'ftp continua a vedere 755...

Credo che il CHMOD su hosting Win non abbia nessun effetto...

Comunque io di solito tutto ciò che va scritto lo butto sotto public e vado via tranquillo.
