[DEbian] VFS: kernel panic

Ciao a tutti,

Domandina... ho una woody con kernel 2.2
compilo un kernel 2.6.9 e mi da all'avvio kernel panic perchè non riesce a montare la root ext2...idee?

Di solito succede se non inserisci il supporto a ext2 nel kernel.

Se usi ext3:
ext2 nel kernel
ext3 nel kernel o come modulo

Come moduli o integrati? Se sono come moduli, hai messo le modutils nuove (mi pare si chiamino module-init-tools)?

sto provando a rifare l'installazione con il kernel 2.4 e formattare la root in raiserfs...mo vediamo
