 msn su linux al silab...

ciao, oggi ho provato gaim e kopete da linux presso il silab. Entrambi non si connettevano al mio account msn, allora ho guardato le impostazioni di msn messenger in windows, e dice che utilizza le impostazioni browser del proxy.

Internet explorer per funzionare usa un proxy http che inizia x 157 sulla porta 8080, mentre firefox sulla medesima porta usa "www".

Se uso queste impostazion con gaim mi viene detto che il tunneling sulla porta 1863 (o simile) non é permesso :?


Idee x far connettere sto gaim? :D

Scherzi a parte, guarda se i due programmi supportano l'uso del proxy sulla porta HTTP, altrimenti non so :)

beh, certo che supportano quelle cose, sennò da dove gli davo le impostazioni :D

amsn lo uso pure io a casa, ma al silab preferisco usare i sw a disposizione, meno sbattimenti!

nelle Preferenze devi modificare la sezione Server proxy:
tipo di proxy: HTTP
Host: www
Port: 8080

Negli account invece devi spuntare la voce Usa il metodo HTTP e poi nelle Opzioni del proxy: Utilizza le opzioni globali del proxy.

io ho utilizzo kopete, ho spuntato la voce "utilizza metodo http" si connette facendomi vedere la mia lista di contatti in linea solo che appena prova a mandare dei messaggi mi esce "Il messaggio seguente non è stato inviato correttamente (Connessione chiusa):" e kopete incomincia a collegarsi e scollegarsi da solo ....perchè?

il client ufficale funziona perfettamente ed ho provato anke con amsn ma si verifica lo stesso identico problema...mi fallisce nell'invio dei messaggi
