Per chi ne capisce di Chimica:

Come la maggioranza dei metalli , l'alluminio (Al) reagisce con l'acido cloridrico gassoso (con formula HCl, comunemente denominato acido muriatico quando si trova in soluzione acquosa diluita), generando un sale di cloro ed idrogeno gassoso secondo la reazione:

2 Al + 6 HCl (g) ---> 2 AlCl3 (s)+ 3 H2 (g)
