 HELP- Hard Disk!

Ciao,
ho un problema con un hard-disk di un portatile.
Il portatile non si avvia piu,rimane bloccato con una schermata nera dopo il boot.
Provando a instalalre linux non riesce a montare l'hard disk (fs danneggiato,errori vari...)
provando a installare XP(sistema operativo del portatile) mi da errori sul disco,e anche via DOS da unita specificata non valida!

Non ho ancora provato a formattare perche vorrei salvare i dati ...penso non ci sai niente da fare e fosse stato il mio avrei gia formattato....qualcuno puo aiutarmi in qualche modo!?

L'HD gira! ho fatto girare un software di diagnosi (FJDT620) e non mi da errori.
Provando a reinstallare XP non mi riconosce piu la partizione come NTFS.
C'è qualche modo per fare un resize della partizione?!
(da linux non si riesce,da errore di input/output con la partizione ntfs)

C'è qualche modo per "sistemare" a NTFS la partizione?!?!

So che formattare sarebbe la soluzione...ma se posso salvare i dati sarebbe meglio!

Sapevo che in giro c'era una utility di recovery dell'hard disk.
Probabilmente è rovinata la tabella delle partizioni. Non credo che Linux abbia un supporto completo per NTFS pero' magari mi sbaglio.
