Trackers & Digital Music

Ricordo che circa 6-7 anni fa, prima dei programmi inutili che fanno adesso (Magix Music Maker ) esistevano programmi c00l chiamati Trackers tipo il FastTracker II o screamTracker che permettevano con un PC e una scheda audio di creare allegre canzoncine (techno ma non solo)....utilizzando samples digitalizzati; l'unico problema e' che funzionavano sotto DOS, e ora con Win2000 e' impossibile utilizzarli.
Qualcuno di voi sa ancora se esiste qualcosa di simile, magari una evoluzione per win32?
Vorrei tanto ricominciare a fare qualche compo carina... magari faccio la canzoncina ufficiale del DSY ehehheh
