beh, alla prima domanda non rispondo neanche. L'informatica ha un linguaggio e quel linguaggio si chiama xml attualmente. Guide...beh sul sito del w3c trovi tutto quello che riguarda xml, xsl, xslt, xquery e xpath...

assolutamente ti serve, anche se a impararlo ce la fai pochissimo tempo, sono solo pochi concetti: proprio per la sua flessibilità è diffusissimo
durante il tirocinio, sto vedendo che serve soprattutto per creare file di descrizione che possano fungere da "interfaccia" tra diverse applicazioni, che mandano il loro output o la loro descrizione in xml in modo che altri software lo comprendano facilmente ..
