La parte a cui si riferisce dovrebbe essre questa:

Ora... Per quanto uno possa discuterne su, non credo ci sia dubbio che la maggior parte deii Divx o mp3 che abbiamo
non sono propriamente di origine legale.

Il fatto che il Kernel Linux implementi l'utilizzo di hardware DRM, penso sia legittimo.
Pensando poi che i sorci sono liberi non vedo il problema visto che chiunque si puo' fare una patch, o non compilare il supporto per i chip di DRM.

Quindi ok per un kernel GPL2, il problema sarà l'hardware...Se non fosse possibile far girare un kernel che non includa l'accesso al chip Fritz ( o come cavolo verrà chiamato ) pensate sia giusto che server di produzione di qualunque tipo non possa utilizzare Linux, solo perchè non implementa protezioni DRM ?

Questo a prescindere da come venga implementata ed utilizzata questa tecnologia, ed il fatto di gradirla o meno.

Linus,IMHO, sta facendo la scelta giusta
