Come faccio a modificare un file php per l'upload di immagini, in modo che una volta caricate cambi il nome in numeri crescente

es: pippo.jpg, topolino.gif diventano 1.jpg, 2.jpg

E che poi vengano visualizzate una sotto l'altra...
