Problema PHP

Qualcuno mi sa spiegare perchè se metto in una pagina PHP la seguente stringa:

<a href="#" onClick="window.open('http://www.tin.it/', 'blank', 'toolbar=0,location=0,directories=0,status=0,menub
ar=0,scrollbars=0,resizable=0,copyhistory=0,width=
300,height=320')">DANcito Mail</a>

Hai guardato nel sorgente della pagina generata con php come risultano quelle righe?

Con document.open funziona.

Possibile che l'oggetto window sia nullo?

Prova a mettere un controllo di debug del tipo:

alert(window == undefined);

probabilmente con window non funziona perchè è una pagina dinamica.

Ma l'oggetto window dipende dal browser che vede semplice Html, lui non dovrebbe sapere che tu stai usando il Php (al di là dell'estensione del file).
