A parte che continuerò ad usare FireFox, x quanto io ami microsoft, ammetto che IE fa proprio pena, cosa ne pensate?

Si, IE è un buon browser indietro di qualche anno.

Se introducono i tab, e mi danno un supporto almeno superiore al 90% del Css2 (nel 2000 era il browser più standard a riguardo, poi si è perso) continuerò ad usarlo... altrimenti passerò dall'altra parte.

La guerra dei browser comunque sembra finita. Microsoft può permettersi di lasciare una bella fetta di mercato a Firefox (anche se ora è solo il 5%), visti tutti gli altri progetti che ha in corso...

Non è più determinante come una decina di anni fa!

si può usare avant browser usa il motore di explorer e supporta i tab più una serie di altre cose...
oltretutto è freeware!

avant browser non è altro che un "contenitore" per diverse istanze di IE, per questo supporta i tab...

oltre a quello della sicurezza il problema di Explorer è che convince la gente a non rispettare gli standard facendo siti IE compatibili.
questa è la cosa che più mi manda in bestia perché infastidisce tutti

per il resto di IE non mi interessa tanto uso linux per la maggior parte del tempo e se sono in windows uso firefox anche perché la comodità di avere lo stesso browser indipendemtente dal sistema operativo explorer non te la da

e di mancherebbe altro, ve lo immaginate internet explorer per linux?

chiaro infatti come come ho già detto usa il motore di explorer...
secondo me cmq è firefox a fare pena, ecco perchè sono molto fiducioso per IE7 speriamo bene...

Mah, so solo che ieri ho dovuto per forza usare explorer su un pc non mio e mi sono trovata davanti un browser senza tab, senza gestures (provengo da Opera, uso le gestures da una vita), con un download manager pessimo... e poi sarebbe Firefox a far pena? Speriamo che almeno la nuova versione di Explorer si dimostri decente e al passo con i tempi...

Già, Explorer se non lo accompagni ad una serie di freeware aggiuntivi fa proprio pena. Delle gesture non me ne faccio nulla, ma il download manager è fondamentale, e con l'integrazione che Leech Get ha con IE mi trovo davvero benissimo! I tab li DEVONO mettere per forza..

Ormai hanno iniziato ad inserire quelle funzionalità che in passato mi costringevano ad utilizzarli.

CrazyBrowser l'ho abbandonato per la lentezza
Pop-Stopper-IE è stato sostituito dal Blocco Popup del Service Pack 2
LeechGet continuo ad usarlo come download manager
WinHTTrack per scaricare pagine Web da usare in modalità non in linea (oppure interi siti web)
