struttura cavo di rete

salve a tutti..
qualkuno sa dove posso reperire info sulla strutura di un cavo di rete??
vorrei sapere..essendo un bus...quali info viaggiano su ognuno degli 8 fili del cavo...
E poi info sul motivo per cui il collegamento tra 2 pc senza hub necessita di un cavo crossato..
