il video del megahertz myth è quello che molti dovrebbero guardarsi... se non per fare un paragone coi PowerPC, almeno per non farsi buggerare dai processori x86 con i nomi iperpompati ,la cui unica preoccupazione da parte dei progettisti è stata quella di affibiargli una velocità di clock stratosferica in modo da vendere di più. questo perchè la gent appunto pensa che una cpu con più clock sia più veloce, senza considerare le altre caratteristiche architettoniche.

Comunque non posso che darti ragione... il problema e' che questi luoghi comuni (o mancanza di cultura) non si riscontrano solo nella gente comune che sfiora appena il mondo dell'informatica, ma anche tra i cosiddetti "informatici" che di questa scienza ne fanno una professione...
