Isis - Panopticon

Due album a dir poco fanstastici....Cosa ne pensate di questa corrente che unisce Riff incredibilmente dilatati (Electric Wizard) e pesanti con una certa propensione per la psichedelia e atmosfere più soft?
A guardare bene i gruppi si nota benissimo come il background non sia per nulla metal (Anathema e via dicendo)...
Questi due album sono nella mia top ten dell'anno appena finito...

I Cult Of Luna li conosco bene, ma mi fanno due palle...
Cioè, secondo me esagerano un pò nell'allungare a tutti i costi i pezzi, rendendoli monotoni e ripetitivi...

Non amo particolarmente questo genere ma me lo sorbisco abbastanza perchè ho un'amico che lo apprezza molto (e spesso )
Ho qlc album (Candlemass, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Thunderstorm, Morgion) ma li ascolto poco (molto poco )
Non sò ...non mi acchiappa

Io consiglio un album di qualche anni fa, abbastanza introvabile e poco conosciuto

in un post precedente erano stati menzionati i theatre of tragady, direi che sono un ottimo gruppo di questo genere! Soprattutto nei primi album, quello omonimo e "Aegis", un po' più "death" del primo
