[ottimizzazione] Intel microcode update

L'ho scoperto da poco:

some Intel CPUs (just like any other hardware or software) contain bugs and, fortunately, their architecture is flexible enough to provide a way to fix those bugs by means of loading the microcode update on the fly, i.e. while the OS is running with no need to reboot (in fact, rebooting or otherwise resetting the CPU causes the update to be lost and requires to run the update again).

Su linux, infatti, è possibile fare in modo che venga caricato un microcode più recente, ma SOLO per cpu INTEL.
I passi da seguire sono:

- ricompilare il kernel con il supporto update microcode IA32
- abilitare il supporto per il filesystem devfs
- scaricare da qui l'utility nella versione più recente e leggere il relativo readme.

Con slack ho dovuto modificare un paio di path nei sorgenti, ma alla fine è andato tutto.

ho sempre abilitato il supporto microcode quando compilavo il kernel ma puntualmente mi dimenticavo di documentarmi a riguardo e non ho mai sfruttato questa feature
